FAMOUS FOODS AT DUBAI DESERT SAFARI

FAMOUS FOODS AT DUBAI DESERT SAFARI

Foods Intro:

Dubai Desert Safari is a favorite destination for tourists and locals alike. The food at the restaurant there was great because it had many different options, something to please everyone's palate.

My family and I recently went on a Dubai Desert Safari. From the moment we got there, it was all about the food. They had a selection of Middle Eastern delicacies from chicken shawarma to falafel wraps with hummus, baba ghanoush, and tzatziki sauce. And if that wasn't enough, they also had more traditional Western foods like hamburgers and hotdogs! We ate until we were full and then some! This experience is one you don't want to miss out on.

BBQ:

I'll be honest, I was not expecting much from Dubai. The city is bustling with skyscrapers and wealth but for us, it was all about the desert safari! A short drive outside of town we came to a remote area of the desert where we had our own personal BBQ and were served traditional Emirati food.
It felt like time stopped as we sat around on Persian carpets eating barbecued chicken, lamb kebabs, and fresh vegetables. We laughed together as someone tried camel milk for the first time (not bad!) surrounded by camels roaming free in the distance. It really doesn't get more authentic than this!

Arabian Coffee:

If you're venturing to Dubai, be sure to try some Arabian coffee. It is a must-have on any desert safari for the perfect experience!

The aroma of this sweet drink will greet you as soon as you arrive in the desert. The Bedouins are masters at brewing this traditional drink and it is their favorite pastime while they wait for the camels to finish cooking dinner. This part of your journey may take longer than expected because it's hard not to try one sip after another of this creamy, rich concoction that has been loved for centuries by Arabs all over the world.

Lamb Ouzi:

A trip to Dubai Desert Safari is incomplete without tasting the rich lamb ouzi. The restaurant offers a wide variety of other dishes, but there's something about that lamb dish that makes it one of the most popular items on the menu. It's served with rice and vegetables which gives it an earthy flavor while making sure you're getting your daily dose of veggies. If you want to experience all Dubai has to offer, this is one dish not to miss!

Kibbeh:

The desert safari experience is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Travelers flock to Dubai for the chance to see exotic animals in their natural habitats and up close, as well as enjoy the thrill of traveling on a camel or dune buggy! A must-do activity at any desert safari is enjoying traditional cuisine.
The most popular dish served on these trips is Kibbeh, which are balls of ground lamb mixed with bulgur wheat and onion. They're covered with pine nuts and spices before being fried until they turn golden brown. These treats are then wrapped in pita bread that has been baked in an oven after it's been rubbed with garlic cloves.

Tabbouleh:

What is it like to eat Tabbouleh at Dubai Desert Safari?
The taste of fresh vegetables, the crunchiness, and the tanginess of parsley and mint leaves. This dish is often served as an accompaniment to Arabic meat dishes but you can also make a meal out of this delicious salad by adding some grilled chicken or fish on top.
A plateful with plenty of bread will make for a satisfying lunch. But if you want something more filling, my advice would be to order one that comes with hummus and falafels too! It's all down to personal preference!

The tabbouleh had cucumber, tomatoes, parsley, and mint mixed with lemon juice which created a refreshing taste with every bite!   It is so easy to find great food in Dubai as there are so many different cultures represented here.

 Baba Ghanoush:

I'd like to share with you my experience at Dubai Deseret Safari. At the end of our tour, we were treated to a meal in their restaurant, which was surprisingly quite delicious! The most interesting thing I found on the menu was Baba Ghanoush.
This was my first time ever trying baba ghanoush so it was interesting to see how different cultures prepare similar dishes in their own way. The flavor of the eggplant stood out more than anything else which added great texture to this dish - it's an eggplant dish that is traditionally made by puréeing cooked eggplant and olive oil together with garlic, salt, lemon juice, and tahini paste. It's served cold as an appetizer or meze.
I had never tasted this cuisine before so I ordered it from the menu without any hesitation. When it arrived at my table, I thought it looked very plain but after taking a bite out of one of the pieces-it tasted absolutely amazing.
